No, the EFF will only award each recipient one application fee per academic calendar year.Â
Currently, this program is only available for Africans who have an earned Bachelor's degree or equivalent.Â
Applications are carefully examined by our Board Reviewers and qualified candidates are selected based on academic achievements, financial need, awareness of the intended institution and program of study, and personal qualities.
The required documents are, your academic official transcript, resume, statement of purpose, proof of communication with the institution of interest, and proof of hardship.
The EFF program offers two cohorts. The application for cohort A opened on December 1st and closed January 30th, and cohort B opens May 1st and closes on June 30th.
Once applications are submitted, it goes through a review process and award communication and payment will be announced 2 months after the application deadline.
The selected candidates will be notified via email once review is complete, informing that they have been selected as a recipient of the scholar award.Â
Funding will be applied directly towards the application fee of the institution of interest.Â
No, funding can not be used for any purpose other than the application fee.Â
